3,000 trees will be planted by TRC staff, Metolong authority and the community that will be affected by the large dam that will be built to provide certain urban areas in with water.

The programme intends to integrate and work together with the affected community to preserve their environment and to prevent soil erosion. Furthermore, the programme aims to promote and encourage good working relations with all the stakeholders.

The Water For Justice Programme is also a member of the Integrated Catchments Management which recognizes the existence of ecosystems and their role in supporting flora and fauna, providing services to human societies, and regulating the human environment. Integrated Catchments Management seeks to take into account complex relationships within those ecosystems: between flora and fauna, between geology and hydrology, between soils and the biosphere, and between the biosphere and the atmosphere.

Transformation Resource Center will celebrate 30 th Anniversary on the 4 th of December. Prior to the actual celebration, communities, individuals and all partners of TRC will be invited for a Fun Day that will be comprised of a Fun Walk and different games.
