While pursuing the love of reading, the Resource Center established a Children's Fun Reading Club. The goal is not only to provide study and research materials to individuals but also to make reading fun for all. Specific objectives of this formation of the Reading Club are To help children to develop the love and respect for books To help them enjoy reading To encourage them to see books as knowledge sharing tools To improve their reading culture. To encourage children to use the Resource Center It is again the goal of the Center to encourage the love of reading in the whole nation. The Center has also given books to 20 schools (primaries and High schools) in order for them to develop their own libraries. Children aged between 5-10 years are invited every last Friday of the month to utilize a range of material including books, games and videos. There are a number of libraries in Lesotho which mostly cater for academics. Most of these libraries do not have sections or material for children. The Lesotho National Library in the capital holds 88,000 volumes. The library at the National University of Lesotho in Roma has more than 175,000 volumes. The British Council maintains a library in Maseru , with 6,270 volumes and there is a library of 10,000 volumes at the Lesotho Agricultural College . The Lesotho National Museum , at Maseru , has collections on archaeology, ethnography, and geology. The Morija Museum has collections in the same fields.
