Impact (quantitative & qualitative): The programme marketed TRC in terms of what the centre stands for on the right to freedom of expression of opinion. TRC made its stance known when debating issues around frontiers that hindered the local media to enjoy their freedom of expression of opinion. TRC understands that media freedom and the freedom of expression of opinion form an integral part of the democratic discourse that the centre is driving through its various projects. So, this rights and freedom are very important in a functional democracy. It is an important tool that citizens use to demand democracy and good governance. Questions posed to TRC and its responses addressed the centre's position.
